Mission
The Center is also devoted to performing research that will help humankind remove the veil between the afterlife and this life. The afterlife and after-death communication are being studied in a teaching-hospital type of atmosphere where research, practice, and training occur simultaneously.
As it develops, the Center will train clergy, hospice workers, physicians, counselors, funeral directs, and others to understand what death is and how to help those with whom they work to understand that death is only a transition into another stage of eternal life. The Center volunteers are now training mental and physical mediums to help more people experience the reality of the afterlife. Psychotherapists will be trained to induce after-death communications and perform them at the Center.
People from the community are meeting at the Center regularly to understand the afterlife and their places in the universe. They enjoy social events where they sing, watch presentations, and share their warmth and love for one another. Discussion groups, therapy groups, and support groups are helping them alleviate problems and grow in spiritual maturity.
The Center for Spiritual Understanding is registered as a not-for-profit corporation in the State of Illinois. We encourage you to make a donation to assist in the Center's work. The Center is active now and anticipates continuing to grow in activities and capabilities.
The Center for Spiritual Understanding is dedicated to helping people understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. That understanding will enable individuals and humankind to grow in love and compassion so people live in harmony, peace, and brotherhood.
People who have had after-death communication experiences, near-death communications, and other encounters with the afterlife are able to share them in an open, trusting, accepting atmosphere, without fear of being thought strange or disturbed. Sensitive people who see spirits or know things they don't learn from the senses are able to speak about what happens to them without fear of not being believed or accepted. And those who come to the Center listen to their stories and be inspired by them. In the future, children whose experiences aren't understood by their parents will be able to share them at the Center and meet other children with similar abilities.
Understanding experiences and life lessons learned in previous lives can help us live this life better and help to eliminate problems that have carried over from past lives. The Center has a past-life regression hypnotist who works with people to help them understand their previous incarnations.
Self-hypnosis regression and other means of better understanding past lives are being taught to groups and individuals.
The Center focuses on helping individuals and humanity grow to new stages of spiritual maturity so people have no fear of death and develop more love and compassion in this life. When we change as individuals and the generations that follow us continue to evolve spiritually, eventually all of humankind will live in peace, harmony, love, and brotherhood. It will begin with whom we become in this life.
In the future, people who do not understand the transition called death will be counseled at the Center, and people who work with and care for the dying will be taught the nature of eternal life and the death transition we all will experience at the end of the Earth life.
After this life is finished, we will continue to grow spiritually in our eternal lives, learning through all manner of experiences, including reincarnating onto the Earth plane and incarnating into other planes and spheres. The Center helps people understand the nature and content of the afterlife, that death is the doorway to the next phase of our eternal lives, that our loved ones who preceded us are living blissfully there, and that all people will continue to grow into spiritually mature beings through eternity.
It allows people to have contact with their loved ones who have crossed over and engages in research and teaching about eternal life and after-death communication.
